Thanks OEN for posting this. I have been thinking about the people all over the world, many of them children, who have been maimed/killed by land mines in countries where we have not been at war for decades. We only recognize atrocities when they happen in our own backyard, and even then we can’t seem to draw the connections to what goes on in the rest of the world.
