Stickers are popping up on businesses around Austin, Texas today causing outrage. Rep. Dawnna Dukes posted a picture of the racist stickers on her Facebook page that proclaim the businesses that they have appeared on are for “white people only” and a “maximum of 5 colored customers” are accepted into the businesses.
Rep. Dukes said that she was alerted to the sticker affixed to a window at the clothing store Rare Trends, and she went to investigate. The lawmaker was disgusted by what she saw and expressed her outrage on Facebook:
