No, of course not.

“Police believe that the girl at the center of the case had been sexually abused by her step-father since she was six years old.”

“The fact that she was pregnant with twins was only discovered after she was taken to hospital in Pernambuco complaining of stomach pains.”

“Her stepfather was arrested last week, allegedly as he tried to escape to another region of the country.”

“He is also suspected of abusing the girl’s physically handicapped older sister who is now 14.”

But they are going to excommunicate everyone remotely connected to aborting the product of rape done by a stepfather. A nine year old should be forced to give birth: risk her life and mental state due to age, because the church has more mercy for a rapist and the unborn than a little girl? Well, how mercy they have for molesting priests; and how little for their victims, should we be surprised?

Guess the Church believes Jesus must hate little children, if they believe this is what he wants.

I am guessing that the step-father isn’t going to be ex-communicated.

Personally, I would take the ex-communication as a reward. The freeing of the bonds of slavery to a church whose only existence is for the sake of power over the people.

I am not even Catholic, but I want one of those ex-communication orders. Where can I apply?
