7-Eleven worker beaten, doused with coffee after telling man to wear mask, IN cops say

Police in Indiana are searching for a man they say assaulted a 7-Eleven worker who told him to wear a mask.

Around 9 a.m. Wednesday, a man went into a 7-Eleven in Mishawaka without wearing a mask, police said in a release obtained by WNDU.

The store displays signs telling customers that they are required to wear face coverings in accordance with coronavirus guidance from the St. Joseph County Health Department and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the South Bend Tribune reported.
