The president is telling the truth. In fact I think Trump tells the truth more than we think, he just doesn’t fill in the details.
I’m sure he’d want you to look at the protests. Don’t actually examine them. Ignore that the protests were peaceful at first, not all that highly organized. Ignore the small numbers of highly organized fascist movements whose intent is turning protests into anything but peaceful. Be fooled by his usual classic, yet clumsily handled, magician’s tactic: misdirection. InspectionIgnore Proud Boys, Boogaloo, militia-types who start things like fires in Nashville’s historic courthouse. Ignore those who think it perfectly legal and justified to drive through protests, then make up excuses why attempted murder should be accepted. Claim you felt “threatened.”
Feel ‘threatened?’ Don’t like crowds angry at you? Then don’t drive into the middle of them trying to murder as many as you can.

And this, perhaps, is one of the biggest indicators of what’s going to happen if Biden wins. How do you think these same Brownshirts would behave once Trump loses? You know he won’t go away quietly. You know there will be no peaceful transfer of power. You know the answer will be the same as it was in Independence Day. What do they want?

“Peace? No peace. …DIE.”

In 2016 we truly opened Pandora’s Box. The gates of Hell flew open wide. I’m sorry: Hillary wasn’t my candidate either, but I did vote for her in the main. Some decided that a middle of the road (at best), DLC Democrat candidate was so bad, let’s try Trump! Once again the cry arose, “Maybe they’ll learn NEXT time!!!?
How’s that working out for you?
Of course those who would not vote for her are NOT the cause of the loss. Especilly not with almost 3 million more votes. Neither is not going to any specific state. Simply put the crucial states that gave him the EC were; some still are, locked down by election fraud tactics, scams run by the Republican Party. Scams like Crosscheck and Exact Match.
Guess this year we’ll find out how “locked down.” maybe. There are other ways for them to steal it, like Republicans in states refusing to certify the election because of this mythical massive mail in scam.
Want better mail in? Well, you can start by not sending a political operative in to take over the post office and sabotage its ability to handle mail in votes.
Hence one of the many reasons I keep using the word “scam.”
We may find out 5 million votes more (plus) STILL won’t make a difference.
I became politically active in 1964. Ever since AT LEAST then we have had a 2 party system that could be described as “evil v. the lesser evil.” I don’t quite buy the framing, but if you’re unhappy with that: organize like teabaggers did to change the Republican Party. It’s a long haul process involving getting involved in a major party to make those changes. Taking sometimes minor positions in the party itself where activists can influence who we choose, activate rich folks willing to back more progressive candidates. YES: MONEY. Damn unfortunate, but the Supremes decided that money is speech and corporations are people. Unless we can get justices that will rule more our way that will only get worse: FOR DECADES. Anything else we do can be changed. Yes, maybe Joe can get 11 justices. The next time they come to power they change that. And on it goes.
Want another party to become a major party? That’s an even longer process with more organization, more dedication.
Want to lessen the power of both major parties? Run off, ranked voting will help: again a lot of organization and effort.
No election, or even multiple elections, will do any of this. If that were true, if that were possible; just to provide a singular example, that great sucking sound Perot complained about would have lessened. Instead it has increased, sometimes to deafening levels.
Since the Brownshirts have been activated, have been empowered, enabled, they will be doing whatever they must to disrupt, increase the hate, start their beloved race war as foretold by The Turner Diaries, as sought for by Nichols and McVeigh and many after. That’s whether he keeps the White House, or not. Especially “not.”
You think the left has been activated since it became obvious some don’t think black lives matter? You ain’t seen nothing yet. Right wing terrorists will get even more activated if Trump loses. Any reaction intended to tamp that down will only enrage them more.
Doesn’t matter what the public wants. This is an anti-majoritarian movement. The kind that uses anti-voting arguments: like states with more deer than people deserve even more of a say. At one time the Electoral College was intended to have wiser citizens: less partisan, either back up the choice of the citizens, or countermand it. (Yes, it was also to give the less populated states more power. At the time: slave states.) Now, through election fraud tactics, it has become a way to give the middle finger to what the public wants and a big wet kiss to racists, xenophobes, far right revolutionaries, and those wanting one party only rule.
And definitely Brownshirts. Brownshirts willing to drive through crowds to murder who they laugh and call “libtards.” Brownshirts willing to drive, or be driven, to a protest in another state and run through the crowd slaughtering people. Brownshirts willing to start a fire in a historical courthouse, break windows in businesses, MURDER POLICE, then step back so the chaos, the counter reaction, sprouts more blood, more death.
 The Brownshirts are upon us.
As bad as COVID 2020 may end up being, 2021 may well end up being the year of Trump’s Brownshirts.
