Second, Scribe was referring to how most humans don’t come up to snuff. He was attacking the self-righteousness of many who claim a higher pedestal. Indeed, Scribe first typed “many.” Perhaps editing that out was an error. But Scribe has a lot to do as he hunkers down in his anti-Archie Bunker.
