Here’s what happened: the Israeli military was told by World Central Kitchen where their vehicles were going, how they could be identified. They were on the phone to them. A sniper took a pot shot at them. OK, who knows for sure who that was, though I think we all can guess? The workers did remained in contact with the military. After that, a ways down the road, they told the military one of their vehicle had been targeted and destroyed, killing the workers in that vehicle.
So that stopped that, apologies followed, right?
No, despite the occupants of the other cars being on the line with them and to tell them what happened and they had been targeted… did that work? Hell, no another car, clearly marked as World Central Kitchen, targeted, occupants murdered. Once again the occupants of the third vehicle pleaded. And, again, boom!
Why one might think this was DELIBERATE and a warning to other do-gooders to stop trying to warn off anyone trying to help the Palestinians stay alive, the goal of extermination by starvation.
See just one of these vehicles at the top of this column: it was shot straight through the roof and the identifying logo. Does that look like a mistake?
So what’s the response of Net and his military?
    Oh, accidents happen in war.
    ”Accidents?”
This pattern is so familiar. Netanyahu told Palestinians to move south to be safe so they can go after Hamas. Then they bombed those who went where Net told them to go. I even heard excuses that this slaughter by starvation and bombs is “justified” because almost all Palestinians support Hamas.
First of all slaughter because of beliefs is still slaughter, and PROOF regarding “almost all?”
Oh, but we can be sure of one thing, the radical right Netanyahu is trying to convert all of them by these actions. Approved personally by the guy who was on the border of indictment and losing his cushy job just before all this.
Politically convenient wars are the worst.
Oh, yeah, they’ll stop? Um, he to whom the war is very convenient politically will NEVER stop this if he has his way. It’s too damn convenient
”Mistakes were made?” Well, if they mean doing their damnable best to help recruit for Hamas, hell yes… but dare I ask, “Mistake?”
The number of mistakes made again and again indicate no mistake at all.
    Meanwhile, Palestinians starve.
Where, oh where, did Israel’s leadership and military’s leadership go to for tactics? Apparently, under the leadership of Netanyahu, way back to the 30’s and 40’s, taking lessons from those who tried to exterminate them, apparently.
