The dubiousness of any such claim aside in a society so INTENTIONALLY divided, it would be impossible to be “president for everyone.”
    President for the left? Yes, for the most part though the purity side not as much.
    Example: a president Kamala can’t simply abandon Israel, though she can demand conditions be changed and slice off aid bit by bit if necessary. Would that work, well… I wouldn’t be surprised, as strange as it may seem, if Putin offered to replace that aid despite him being on the opposite side for so long.
    Putin is an agent of chaos. ANYTHING to sabotage us unless we give him his beloved puppet.
    Otherwise a President Kamala can do what politicians have done for many, many years previous to one side’s cultish deep dive into extremism. Offer a lot of candy to her base, less but some to the purity crowd, even less to Republicans, even less to the more conservative, if one dare use the title.
    But what can she do for MAGA that would change any minds?
   ᠲNOTHING.
    What does MAGA demand? Like Dear Leader Trump they demand loyalty. Even if she offered candy it would be framed as if it were Halloween candy with both razor blades and poison.
    Evidence? Look at how FEMA aid is being framed.
    THEY WILL LIE.
    THEY WILL SPIN.
    THEY WILL MAKE UP S!!T
    They have no honor, nor ethics. No line is something they won’t cross. Combined with being willing to accept spin, lies, 1984-ish rewrites of history and outright paranoia. They accept whatever their leaders tell them, their spinners, just like Trump accepts whatever Putin says over our military leaders. And worse their object is to drag all of us to the bowl with the tainted Flavor Aid.
    They are, however, part of “everyone.”
    So, no, in the final analysis; since she can’t do everything and anything they want, or even be accepted if she tried, she can’t be president for everyone.
    And I wouldn’t want her to be.
