    Truly, I repeat: I DON’T CARE.
If Republicans hadn’t still be making noises about prosecuting him to the ends of the Earth…
If Donald Trump hadn’t been on a revenge tour during his run to get reelected, and obviously doing anything to get at the Biden family.
If Trump and Company hadn’t interfered in the deal that had already been made in court.
If they hadn’t made absurd demands which contributed to ruining that deal.
If Donald Trump hadn’t run on pardons for murderous insurrectionists.
If Republican advocates hadn’t spent so much time fighting against applying the same laws to their own, the same laws they have fought to apply to the extreme because anything to get at the Biden family was their fanatical goal. Like a “gun” crime they would normally want dismissed except, well, “Biden.”
Hunter was just the latest in a LONG list of right wing/Trumpian jihads. Yes, Biden promised over and over not to pardon him. I don’t care. Trump’s list of broken promises and false claims, but Biden must not change his mind. &#%! that.
I’m sure since Trump “won” Biden would hope it would die down. Instead now they are emboldened, but I’m not sure either would have made a difference. The petty little dictator soon to be would want the jihad(s) to continue, even intensify. Now Biden is thinking of pardoning all his intended targets.
    PLEASE JOE!
All this has the intensity of severe political-crack addict Nazis hunting Jews, only now the targets in numbers are far more vast.
Want one more? I have plenty, but I will mercifully stop at this one. Here ya go!
If Trump and his lawyers hadn’t spent so much time avoiding justice for far worse things than Hunter was ever accused of doing. Including a murderous insurrection that, at best, traitor Trump encouraged while being at best mealy mouthed about the attempt to murder Pence, Palin and successful attempts to murder at least one cop. If we count the suicides, well.
If roles had been reversed MAGA would recommend machine gunning Babbitt and other insurrectionists.
Did Biden pursue Trump? Anyone with a single brain cell would know not the case. Two state cases (not Biden) and even Biden’s hand picked AG didn’t… didn’t… didn’t… then appointed someone and after Grand Jury of citizens decided to pursue did that happen. No, Trump’s problems were of his own making and richly deserved.
The whole thing is rich, considering Trump is the patronage king of all time of all presidents.
This whole Hunter narrative reminds me of long conversations over the net via E-mail I had with now long since passed Bartcop. I wonder what Bart would think now, he who sold “Worst president ever” bumper stickers during Bush, the Sequel? Bart and I agreed, “How did I get into this feckless, weak kneed, party?”
Meanwhile Democratic leadership acts as if being nice, playing fair, follow the Constitution, the law, precedent, will offer us long term rewards. How many times have I heard, “Oh, now he WILL pardon the insurrectionists.” Got to be kidding. He was going to do it either way.
Please, please, please, PLEASE!!! …can you tell me where all this “we shouldn’t do what they do” has gotten us? To this defining moment where we don’t even DARE question his “win.” Even though with purging, gerrymandering, bad/too few machines going to politically incorrect districts, voting boards packed with those who can reject what the voters voted for it’s obvious there’s much to raise questions about.
Did you know red districts in mostly red states like Georgia are refusing to give up records that could help assess the actual nature of the vote and any shenanigans?
    Gee, wonder why?
    Back to Hunter…
IMO, Joe Biden has once again led the way. I hope he continues so. Let’s get at those pardons and sabotaging the incoming administration, like Trump did in Afghanistan. DO WHAT THEY DO, just be more open about how “if they should do it then we have the right to do it too.”
BTW, who the hell ever gave Republicans the right to mass purge and challenge voters? If they have such a right THEY should have to prove on a one by one basis that any one of these people really hasn’t the right to vote. No voter should be guilty before proven guilty. They have to prove claims ONE BY ONE. Mass purges should be illegal, not one purged because of a citizen’s challenge. Politically that’s like handing anti-the right to vote hand grenades to political terrorists.
As far as Hunter goes if they had accepted the compromise made in court I would have been fine with it. Obviously he screwed up. Justice should be served. But this hasn’t been “justice.”
So mad about the Hunter pardon?
    GET OVER IT.
    Like Joe Biden said…

“Enough is enough.”
