It appears as though Julian Assange will at least be out on bail any minute but what about Bradley Manning? Solitary jail for 7 months so far without being convicted of anything, without even a trial. That’s bad!
I think Manning is screwed, unfortunately. He’ll be tried in a military court-martial and they’ll throw the book at him, even though he may be covering for higher-ranking personnel who leaked documents. I find it hard to believe that a lowly PFC rating would have free access to that vast and varied an array of sensitive documents.
